Mobile app is a program or software application designed to intended to run on a mobile and tablet devices. In the beginning mobile app were planned for productivity assistance such as Email, calendar, contact database etc. but now days apps caused rapid expansion into other area such as gaming, GPS tracking, order-tracking, ticket purchasing and many more even millions of apps are available. Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) App-
BHIM is a Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and was developed by NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India). It has been named after Bhim Rao Ambedkar and is intended to facilitate e-payments directly through banks and as part of the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization and drive towards cashless transactions.
MyGov App-
It is a citizen engagement platform founded by government of India to promote active participation of Indian citizens in country's governance and development. It aims at crowed sourcing governance ideas from citizens. The users shall be allowed to discuss and to contribute to various government plans and projects.
IRCTC Connect App-
The Indian Railways had launched an android app to make the ticket booking process easier for the people. By using this app users can search and book train tickets, view and cancel it. In this app you can check passenger details, new user can register directly from app and it also alert the user for upcoming journeys.
DigiLocker App-
DigiLocker is a digital locker service operated by Indian government that enables Indian citizens to store certain official documents on the cloud. The service is aimed towards reducing the need to carry physical documents. and it is also the part of digital India initiative. The 1 GB of storage is offered to users to store all essential documents like education certificates, PAN card, DL, vehicle ownership documents etc. User need to verify Aadhar to avail DigiLocker .
Voter Helpline App-
The app aims to provide a single platform for service and information delivery to voters across the country.
GARV (Grameen Vidyutikaran) App-
The app lets anyone track the progress of rural electrification in India through real time dashboard reports by the GVAs (Grameen Vidyut Abhiyantas) are shared through the GARV app with officials as well as public.
mPassport Seva-
Passport Seva project, being executed by Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) division of the Ministry and External Affairs (MEA) , Government of India, aim to provides all passport related services to the Indian citizens in a speedy, convenient and transparent manner.
