Q. Differentiate between Data and Big data?
Ans. Data refers to the quantities, characters, or symbols on which operations are performed by a computer, which may be stored and transmitted in the form of electrical signals and recorded on magnetic, optical or mechanical recording media.
Big Data is also data but with large size. It is a term used used to describe a collection of data that is large in size and yet growing with time. Examples of Big Data are BSE stock exchange data, Social media data such as photo and video uploads, message exchanges, putting comments etc.
