What is Cloud computing?

Ans- Cloud computing or on-demand computing is an internet-based computing service which involves the use of the network of remote servers rather than local server or personal computer, which host on the internet for storing, managing, and processing of the data. In Cloud computing, Cloud is a large group of interconnected computers, which may be personal or public. It has 3 users:

1) End Users- The end users is one who uses the services provided y the cloud.
2) Business management users- The business management users in the cloud takes the responsibility of the data and the services provided by the cloud.
3) Cloud Service provider- The cloud service provider is the one who is responsible for the maintenance of the IT assets of the cloud. It acts as a common center for its users to fulfill their computing needs.

What are the basic characteristics of cloud computing?

Ans- The four basic characteristic of cloud computing are given below-
a) Elasticity and scalability
b) Self-service provisioning and automatic de-provisioning.
c) Standardized interfaces.
d) Billing self-service based usage model.
