Find Replace and Go To Option in MS Word

FIND TEXT-

This feature of MS-Word helps you to locate a specific text or phrase of a maximum size of 255 characters. You can also search for special characters such as tabs, page breaks, extra spaces, line break etc. within a document.

Steps:
  1. Click on find button from editing group of home tab or press Ctrl+F
  2. The find and replace dialog box will display
  3. Type the text on find what dialog box and press Find Next button.

REPLACE TEXT:-

MS-Word also allows you to replace a text by another text throughout in the document, for example, to replace an incorrect spelling by a correct spelling.

Steps:-
  1. Enter the text to be found in the find what dialog box.
  2. Enter the new text in the replace with dialog box.
  3. Click on the replace button or replace button. Or
  4. Press Ctrl+H from keyboard to open replace dialog box

Go To :-

It allows you to jump to a specific page, section, line, comment, bookmark, footnote and several others.

Steps:-
  1. Click on find button arrow from editing group of home tab or press Ctrl+G
  2. The find and replace Go To dialog box will display
  3. Here multiple option comes under Go To what section like page, Line, Bookmark, Comment, etc. 
  4. Enter particular page number or line number or press + or - sign to move particular location.
